Something strange i found on ebay is a bunch of rocks. This is strange because who would want to buy rocks?

Jobs

if i could pick any job in the world...i would pick something i enjoy and that is not too stressfull. i would want to travel and sometimes change jobs as well and do something intresting. i think i would pick being a writer, and or a research psychologist.

To me, the worst job ever would be something which takes up too much of a person's time. i think a job should be a part of your life but it should not BE ur life. also any job that doesn't make a person happy is not a good job so i guess the worst job depends on the person

Weekly Post

I spent my Wednesday by going to the mall. I didn't come to school because it was a day zero, and I think it was environmental day, but I already know about the environment so its okay.

I think that the environment is taken for granted by people and it is really dispicable. People litter sooo much.

To help the enviroment people should not litter, recycle, pick up litter and use cars less. I do all of these.

Midterms

Well I just got my midterm yesterday and I was pretty disapointed....but not surprised. I knew my World Issues mark dropped because I didn't hand in this ONE assignment. Other than that I did okay in law, and good in this class.
I don't feel that my World Issues mark is a reflection of my efforts at all, because I did well on the things i did hand in and the one thing that i didnt hand in was a bunch of graphs and that doesnt really reflect our knowledge of the course and my teacher didnt even give me a second chance, and her mark brought down my average a lot.
Next semester i want my average to be higher and my world issues mark alot HIGHER

Friday the 13th

Well, it's Friday the 13th today which is supposedly a very unlucky day. There doesn't seem to be a proven reason why Friday the thirteenth is bad luck, but lots of different cultures view either Fridays, or the number thirteen as bad luck. My theory is that the reason why all these cultures find Fridays or thirteen to be bad luck is because they all got influenced by each other at one point in history.

Personally, I don't think there's anything about Friday the 13th thats different than other days. I used to think it was bad luck when I was younger but now I dont. I'm not superstitious in anyway any more.

I just read on wikipedia that: "Some people are so paralyzed by fear that they are simply unable to get out of bed when Friday the 13th rolls around"

All i have to say is that is a little excessive.

Easter

Well its almost Easter...I'm not a Christain so to me Easter is just a time where i get a few days off school and some chocolate.

I think that the Easter bunny is a part of this holiday so that it can be more comercial and companies can make money off selling Easter bunny items and all the chocolate, toys, cards, movies and other things that have to do with the Easter bunny.

The most fun time I ever had with my family would probably be when I was younger and we went camping in Algonquin Park. It was fun because there's a beach, nature, outdoors, and it was just a lot of fun to me because i was younger and i really enjoyed it. Also u get to actually see the stars at night and it is really beautiful.

Literacy and Spring time

I think its important to pass the literacy test in high school because if someone doesnt have those skills they wont do well in college or university. If they realize they have a problem while their in high school they can fix it but if they dont take the test, they will never know. and if they dont pass the test they wont have their literacy skills.

The thing im looking forward to about spring is the weather. Now its actually going to be warm enough to go for a walk! And spring looks nicer than winter because theres actually flowers.

Cockroach Salad

If i found a cockroach in a salad that a freind served, i would politelty point it out to them. I would say "I think a cockroach fell into your salad." i wouldnt get mad at them but i definately wouldnt want to eat there again. I would also be pretty disgusted because cockroaches really gross me out a lot but i would try to not seem as disgusted so they wouldnt be too embarassed about having cockroaches.

March Break Plans

I plan on spending my march break relaxing, and not stressing over anything at all. I dont have any big plans yet...
The only thing I'll miss about school is getting to see a lot of my freinds everyday.
The best March break I ever had would be...well, all of them were equally good.

Weekly Post

I really dont know what i would consider to be the most beautiful man made object...I think nature has more beauty than anything man could make. (Sunsets, gardens, etc.) I guess the most beautiful things created by man, according to me, would be paintings that look really nice.
One thing that I dont have but want would be... a car, but then again i cant drive. Hmmm I guess I'd want more nail polish because i just ran out and thats all i can think of that i want.

How i spent career day

Well this career day I stayed home, actually. I slept in because i set my alarm clock for the wrong time. Atleast it was a day 0 so i didnt miss anything. I think day zeros are a good idea because a LOT of students dont know what they want to do in the future so i think it can help those people out.
A particular sound that annoys me is basically any noise that occurs early in the morning or at night time because it gets in the way of my sleep...and thats pretty annoying.

Snow Day and a Perfect Pizza

Two days ago we had our first snow day of the year. I felt relieved...I mean if it's that cold and snowy we shouldnt have to go to school. I wasnt surprised that schools were closed, I was actually expecting a snow day, because I knew it was supposed to snow a lot. I got to sleep in and catch up on my soap operas like Days of Our Lives which I havent seen in forever. =) It was too cold to go anywhere as I expereinced when I was outside for a while. So I pretty much went on MSN, and stayed in all day.

To me, the perfect pizza would have the right amount of sauce and cheese and it would be a thin crust pizza...It would be like the ones at Bostan Pizza. It would be a cheese or maybe a veggie pizza, since I'm a vegetarian.

Weekly Post

Well it's the last day of my first week of semester 2. This week has been pretty laid back, I only had one assignment and it was a summary of Bowling For Columbine (a documentary) but I'm sure everything will get harder soon...unfortunately.

I'm pretty happy with my classes so far. I have Law, and World Issues as well as this class. My other two classes are grade 12 courses, since I'm in grade 12, but I also needed one more credit and since I will have all 6 grade 12 courses at the end of the year, my guidance councellor suggested I take this class. I've never really taken a computer class so I hope I can learn more about computers.

The best thing about each of my classes is that I will be learning something new, since I dont know that much about Law, or World Issues or this class. The worst thing would have to be...well I don't really have anything I dislike too much about my classes this semester.

My report card was alright, I was hoping for higher marks but I didnt really do too bad. My average was a 76%. Hopefully it wont go down at all this semester and will get better.

If I could migrate somewhere else now I would go anywhere warm! I dont like the cold. I would want to go to either Mexico or Cuba and have a nice vacation.
